Happy belated birthday! ^^

YOUR ART IS SO IMPRESSIVE AND BEAUTIFUL 😭😭

Hello! Can I ask you something about your process?

Do you immediately work with a soft brush and then clarify shapes or do you use a hard brush and then make blending and blurring?

Thanks in advance!

I might not be the one expected to reply here 😹but saw your comment and found it interesting. From what I have seen from Alex he doesn't always do the same, but sometimes he makes a sketch with some color/detail, then he blurs it (gaussian blur over the whole canvas) and after that he starts working on the details. He has some videos on artstation you can check out

Oh, thank you very much for the answer! I didn't see that Alex has videos on Artstation.

I just think it is super helpful for learning to dig in to the process of other artists, even if you work in a very different style.

No worries! It is quite helpful actually, you always learn a thing or two that might help with your style or your workflow. Personally I always do things differently, otherwise I get stuck or bored (like sometimes I just start with color, sometimes with black and white, sometimes with detailed sketches, etc.)

Love your style!
